Cordeaux School

A £4-million development will bring new opportunities for students in the Louth area when the Wolds College opens its doors on the same site as the well established Cordeaux School.
Cordeaux, which was awarded the government's prestigious School Achievement Award for the pace and scale of its examination result improvements, has a proud record of success, reflected in the fact that demand for places in its sixth form has trebled since 2003.
In September 2004 Cordeaux was designated a specialist engineering college.
Development of the Wolds College will lead to a broader range of educational opportunities. Work is due to begin in October 2007 and the college is expected to open in the autumn of 2008.
