With 481 children this Scunthorpe school is larger than average. In April 2007 Ofsted inspectors said that pupils achieve satisfactorily from well below average standards when they start school to attain standards below national expectations.
Pupils with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, and those who learn English as an additional language achieve well. “This is because of the good support they receive in class and through the inclusion and therapeutic support unit.”
The school includes a nursery unit.
