Matthew Humberstone Church of England School
http://www.matthewhumberstone.co.uk/]
A specialist business and enterprise college, the school has the motto: “Striving for Excellence” through an innovative business and enterprise culture founded on church school values.
There has been a Church of England School on the site since 1882 when the school first opened its doors to just 15 boys. Over a hundred years later there are over 1,400 students on roll.
A successful comprehensive school, Matthew Humberstone meets the diverse needs of individual students, preparing them for the demands of a rapidly changing society. Students are given the opportunities to achieve excellence in all aspects of school life and the skills and knowledge to become valuable citizens. The school says it has created an environment which offers strong support to the individual and also emphasises the importance of developing care and concern for others.
