The school has 147 children on its roll aged 3-7. It serves a residential area of Scunthorpe in which there is significant deprivation. Ofsted inspectors said in March 2006: “The children’s attainment on entry to the nursery school is well below average.
This is a good school with several outstanding features. The school environment has been made stimulating and exciting so that children are eager to learn and their behaviour is excellent. The school’s partnership with other organisations, especially parents, is outstanding in promoting children’s learning.
