The school continues the provision of Catholic education begun in the two North East Lincolnshire Catholic primary schools and works with parents as partners in their children’s education as well as parish communities.
The school prides itself on providing a first class Catholic education for all students.
St Mary's is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided Secondary School built and maintained for the purpose of handing on a Catholic education to the young people of the Catholic parishes of this area of the Nottingham Diocese. It is a mixed comprehensive day school for students aged 11-16. The governors of the school have agreed to admit up to 60 students at the age of 11 each year.
