Whitgift School
http://www.whitgift-school.co.uk/
A learning centre which is widely used by community groups in the evening and
at weekends, Whitgift works on the belief that each young person is an
individual and that its job is to foster the different strengths of all students - whether they are academic, creative or sporting.
Principal curriculum objectives are to provide students with the knowledge and skills they will require as an adult in a caring and sympathetic environment. Situated in Crosland Road, Grimsby, the school has 738 pupils aged 11 to 16.
The school has excellent facilities which include a purpose-built theatre seating 200 students, a sports hall, two swimming pools, a gymnasium and dance studio.
