Market Rasen and Louth RUFC

The club was founded in 1952 by the merger of Market Rasen RUFC and Louth RUFC.

On amalgamation, the new club adopted Market Rasen as its home maintaining the colours from Market Rasen but adding the badge of Louth as its emblem.

For a time the club used changing rooms and other facilities at Market Rasen racecourse but opened its own club on the course's car park in 1965.

In 1980 the club bought two paddocks on Willingham Road and transformed them into the pitches and club house used today.

The club prides itself on a friendly atmosphere and welcomes new members to join players from all local towns including Market Rasen, Louth, Caistor and Horncastle.
