Scunthorpe RUFC
It was in 1929 that Scunthorpe RUFC was began to make its mark and today is proud of its position as one of the top teams in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire as well as one of the top 100 clubs in England, out of 2000 clubs registered to play.
There are six male and female senior sides, and anything up to ten junior teams playing each weekend.
The club says it stimulates the ambitions of younger players whose dreams roll on from there to county and international honours.
The clubhouse is an important social centre and private party and meeting rooms are available all year round.
